Every interaction I've had with the FLPD has been great. I worked at a gas station overnight for 6 months and since they knew I was alone, they check in on me every couple hours. I now work for another business here in FL and they have been helpful when we've needed them.
My garage door was stuck in the open position. FLPD showed up at 2:43 am that night to check for crime happening at my house. The dispatch called me to alert me of the police at my house. I appreciate your department for looking out for me. Thanks Again!
My garage door was left open accidentally on two occasions and police were outside my home with dispatch calling me to alert me they were outside making sure all is well and they would stay there until I came out to let them know we are ok and I've closed my door! That is really nice of them!
Do not move to Fox Lake because the police are very bad they murder their own police officer Joe and they got away with it and they like to pull people over and give them bogus tickets and they like to harass citizens
